Jannah (paradise)
In the Name of Allah The Most Gracious The Most Merciful.
May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon His
last and final messenger
Asalamu alaykum(peace be upon you)
Surah 3 Ayah 136
"For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!"
The Prophet said, "Paradise has eight gates, and one of them is called Ar-Raiyan through which none will enter but those who observe fasting."
The Prophet also said, "If a person spends two different kinds of something (for Allah's cause), he will be called from the gates of Paradise." - Sahih Bukhari
Some ways people can get into jannah.
Alongside belief and righteous deeds.
The Prophet said: If a woman dies while her husband was pleased with her, she will enter Paradise.
Allah's Apostle said, "Whoever can guarantee (the chastity of) what is between his two jaw-bones and what is between his two legs (i.e. his tongue and his private parts), I guarantee Paradise for him."
Allah's Apostle said, "Allah has ninety-nine names, i.e. one-hundred minus one, and whoever knows them will go to Paradise." (Please see Hadith No. 419 Vol. 8)
The Prophet said, "The person who participates in (Holy battles) in Allah's cause and nothing compels him to do so except belief in Allah and His Apostles, will be recompensed by Allah either with a reward, or booty (if he survives) or will be admitted to Paradise (if he is killed in the battle as a martyr). Had I not found it difficult for my followers, then I would not remain behind any sariya going for Jihad and I would have loved to be martyred in Allah's cause and then made alive, and then martyred and then made alive, and then again martyred in His cause.")
Asalamu alaykum(peace be upon you)

Surah 3 Ayah 133
"Be quick in the race for forgiveness from your Lord, and for a Garden whose width is that (of the whole) of the heavens and of the earth, prepared for the righteous,"

Here are some Ahadeeth on the description of Jannah.
About its value
The Prophet said, "A place in Paradise as small as the bow or lash of one of you is better than all the world and whatever is in it" - Sahih Bukhari
about its size
The Prophet said, "There is a tree in Paradise (which is so big and huge that) if a rider travels in its shade for one hundred years, he would not be able to cross it." - Sahih Bukhari
About some of the characteristics of the people who will enter it.
The Prophet said, "Paradise and the Fire (Hell) argued, and the Fire (Hell) said, 'I have been given the privilege of receiving the arrogant and the tyrants.' Paradise said, 'What is the matter with me? Why do only the weak and the humble among the people enter me?' On that, Allah said to Paradise, 'You are My Mercy which I bestow on whoever I wish of my servants.' Then Allah said to the (Hell) Fire, 'You are my (means of) punishment by which I punish whoever I wish of my slaves. And each of you will have its fill.' As for the Fire (Hell), it will not be filled till Allah puts His Foot over it whereupon it will say, 'Qati! Qati!' At that time it will be filled, and its different parts will come closer to each other; and Allah will not wrong any of His created beings. As regards Paradise, Allah will create a new creation to fill it with." - Sahih Bukhari
Allah's Messenger said, "The inhabitants of Paradise are hairless, beardless and have black eyes, their youth does not pass away and their garments do not wear out." - transmitted by Tirmidhi and Darimi
Jannah is described as having 8 doors or gates.
The Prophet also said, "If a person spends two different kinds of something (for Allah's cause), he will be called from the gates of Paradise." - Sahih Bukhari

Jazak Allah Khair....
May Allah reward you here and after and let you enter Firdaws-ul-A'la.
