The Day of Arafah
In The Name of Allah The most gracious The most merciful.
May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon his last and final messenger Muhammed.
Asalamu Alaykum (Peace be upon you).
Brothers and sisters we are in the final days of the first ten days of dhul hijjah. Tommorrow is the day of Arafah and is one of the most blessed days of the year. The Day of Arafah is the day where the Hajj goers stand at Arafah and supplicate and praise Allah and it is the day before Eid-ul-Adha. It is recommended that we make dua and fast on that day as told to use by our beloved prophet Muhammad (SAWS).
Abu Hafsah May Allah be pleased with him reported that the prophet (SAWS) said: "fasting the day of Arafah expiates the sins for two years, the previous year and the coming year..."
