What is Dawah and Why is Dawah Important?
May the peace and blessings of Allah subahanahu wa ta'aala be upon his last and final messenger(peace be upon him)

What is Dawah and why is it important?
Dawah is to spread Islam and invite those who don't have Islam in their lives by making sure the message reaches them. Dawah is important because Islam was not sent to us from Allah subhaanahu wa ta'aala for a certain group or ethnicity or race but for all humanity. Islam isn't only a religion we practice one day of the week or on occasion but it is a way of life. Islam governs our actions, our words, the way we treat one another and the way we deal with humanity and all of creation. Nowadays, we also have the job of portraying correct Islam to people because of all the false information going out about this perfect religion. After listening to several lectures about Dawah I felt the need to do my share in Dawah. Insha Allah this blog is the first of my projects. In encourage everyone to take part in Dawah even if its creating a blog, making a youtube channel, posting 1 hadeeth a day on facebook or making pamphlets to pass out to colleagues or classmates.
In Saheeh al-Bukhaari (3461) it is narrated from ‘Abd-Allah ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said:
